The Chef VS. Fast Five

10 years ago there was this little movie called The Fast and the Furious, it had the simple formula of Fast cars, Hot woman, and some dudes that make women's panties drop. It worked, I love that movie, granted i was a lot younger at the time, but i would still watch the movie today if I couldnt reach the remote. 10 years and 4 films later we have Fast Five. It brought back familiar faces from previous movies, which made for a nice cast. Now I paid 6 dollars to watch this film, and guess what? I would have gladly paid general admission for this movie, with a date, and some popcorn and still wouldnt feel ripped off. I like the movie, it is in my opinion The Best of the series. I love where they are taking the story, all in all, I would say watch this movie.

 Let's talk about why I liked this movie, The story was not bad, the screen play writers arent going to win any awards or anything, but I was interested on what was going on. This movie starts off right where fast and furious ended. They break out Dom from the prison bus, it was crazy, maybe a bit impossible, which was the theme for this movie, but it looked cool. Which if you want to base movies on Real LIfe and do impossible shit, you better make it look good or else everyone gonna bitch, that's stupid, they cant do that. Another thing I love about the story, its a heist movie, who doesnt love a good heist move? I think they way they did it was really clever, there were some holes but stuff i could over look. The next thing I like was The classic quater mile race, it was the theme for the first movie, and im glad they brought it back,it was really cool but for a race thats suppose to take about 10 secs, it lasted pretty long. It also had some drifting, car chases and it famous scene which appears in all of the movies, where they pull up to underground racing place, with awesome cars and hot women in short skirts. My only complaint was that they were in Brazil, gimme some ass please, not nearly enough. I think that scene topped Tokyo Drifts' which was my favorite prior to that one. Latinas to me will always be my first choice, but Asians will always be a close second. By the way, do those places really exist, if so please leave me a message where i could find one in So Cal, I would really like to check it out for myself one day. Speaking of awesome cars, lets talk about them. I liked how they used a nice variety, you had your american muscle, your asian imports and european imports. The cars were awesome, probably the best line up of all the movies. One more thing before I move to spoilers, stay through the credits, there is one more scene that lets you know thats there is a 6 movie coming.

   My thoughts on the series so far, If you didnt count second movie or tokyo drift(which i liked) I think the storyline has improved greatly. I mean the second one was horrible, and all the impossible shit they tried to do, didnt look cool at all nor did I care for the story at all. Tokyo Drift was cool,  except for the acting. It had nothing to do with the previous 2 movies until the very end where Dom shows up and races Sean and mention that Him and Han were friends. This lead Dom coming back to the series in Fast and Furious. Which I think is the true sequel to the first one. It wasnt my favorite of the series but alot better that 2fast, 2furious. With this latest movie, i like the direction they are going with this franchise and Im looking forward to the next one.

  SPOILER!!! They only one i want to talk about is the one during the credits, First you have a Cameo with Eva Mendez(HOT) walking into the office of Hobbs talking about some car heist at a military compound. When Hobbs looks through the file, they show a photo of the person who lead the heist, it was Letty(michelle rodriguez). She was killed in Fast and Furious, even though they never showed it. I mean they showed it but it was just a speculation. How do i feel about this twist? I love it, kinda hard to believe, when the killer confess to killing her but you know, its something I could over look. So we know Dom going to go look for her, and they will probably bring back Hobbs and Eva mendez's characters in the next movie. So if they can keep the same cast on board, I think they could pull off another good movie.

The Chef vs Battle Los Angeles

The first time I seen the trailer for this movie was during the Super Bowl and I thought to myself, Damn that looks epic!!!! When i seen the extended trailer on the big screen, i nearly nutted. Never have i seen so much action squeezed into 2 mins so i had high hopes for this movie. So March 11 rolled around and I so went to the earliest showing my theater had to offer. Now lets get into the movie, ill try not to reveal too much. Opening scene it shows Aaron Eckhart in a chopper flying over a ruined LA, At this point i was thinking they are just throwing you into the mix, I could dig it. Then they did the old day before stuff where they give a brief backstory on some of the characters, this only takes about 10 mins i believe, after that aliens are blowing up shit. The Story follows a group of Marines sent in to rescue some civilians in a police station in San Monica. I think thats all you need to about the movie, lets move on to my opinion, It was awesome!!!! Its filmed like Cloverfield so you have to get used to the camera moving all crazy at times. Battle LA will not disappoint with action, the movie is filled with it. Another reason why I loved it, there really wasnt too much side stories, no one is falling in love or gettin it on during a alien invasion, It was all about survival. So you if you like an action packed movie, Id go watch it, hell id even pay general admission. Now lets talk about the woman, First up Michelle Rodrigez, she's a hottie but in a marines uniform nots so much, but id still hit it cause any girl that can handle a big gun, can handle me. Next woman from Battle LA is Bridget Monyahan, also another gorgeous woman, she's strolling through the movie as a civilian in some jeans and a shirt. Yeah this movies doesnt have any nudity or woman showing off tits and ass, so its ok to take your GF.

Action: A+ lots of and lots of it

Women: C   Michelle Rodrigez and Bridget Moynahan are hot, but nothing revealing

Drama: B   there are some touching scenes in the movie, you can guess not everyone survives

Comedy: F next to none in the movie

Acting: B    as good as you can get for an all out action film

SFX: A   i like the alien models and their attack ships

10. Salma Hayek Salma Hayek is one of those women that just get hotter with age.  She was hot in Desperado, but her recent run in 30 Rock has blown my mind.  Besides the ridiculous idea that she would almost marry Alec Baldwin, she managed to out sexy Tracy Morgan.  Not. An. Easy. Feat.   Why She's Not #1: She was a late arrival on my list.  The accent is a little thick for me.  I'm also not a big fan of curly hair.

9. Kristen Kreuk She would have missed this list if it wasn't her recent resurrection for a short stint on Chuck.  I would visit the fictional Buy More way more often if she was part of the Nerd Herd.  There is a reason this is on this list and the reason is her heritage.  I hate to say it but I'm simple like that.  It helps that she's gorgeous and a pretty good body.  Why She's Not #1: I still haven't seen Street Fighter.

8. Jennifer Love Hewitt JLH is one of my earliest celebrity crush.  After Winnie Cooper and Kelly Kapowski she's probably next on the list.  And she is the first celebrity I liked because she was hot.  She has an amazing body and an extremely cute face.  I watched House Arrest specifically because of her.  It was the first time I ever saw her and she just blew me away.  Can't Hardly Wait is still one of my favorite movies because how gorgeous she is.  And because she ends up with the geek.  WE CAN ALL HOPE.  I watched I Know What You Did Last Summer AND I Still Know What You Did Last Summer for her and only her.  I don't want to admit this, but one of my first "homepage" ever was basically a fansite for her (on Geocities baby!).  What I find funny is that the reason I thought/think she is so hot has nothing to do with her boobs.  That seems to be the first thing (or things) people go for with her.  But for me it was her ass and it all was because of an ad for jeans.  Imagine a minute long ad that only followed JLH and showed her ass as she walked through as city.  I was hooked.   Why She's Not #1: Nostalgia only gets you so far.

7. Sara Jean Underwood I had a bit of debate on this one.  I started debating her or the blonde girl from Chuck.  In the end, Sara Jean Underwood is prettier and that's what I went with.  In my opinion it's more difficult for anybody that has posed naked to be on this list.  I think pretty much anybody will agree that people are sexier with clothes on, doesn't matter what it is, just having that ONE piece of clothing left makes a woman sexier.  I found out about Ms. Underwood from The Girls Next Door.  She may be the prettiest blonde celeb right now. Why She's Not #1: She's blonde.  I hate to boil it down that simply, but it's probably the reason.

6. Grace Park Grace Park is probably the most recent addition to the list.  In case you didn't know, I like Asian women.  So when an Asian woman gets a major role on a major television show it makes me happy.  When the woman looks like Grace Park and spends a lot of time naked or partially naked and happens to show up naked in the freaking opening credits, it's a really good thing.  As if I needed another reason to love Battlestar Galactica.   Why She's Not #1: She's a little too new.  She hasn't been around long enough to earn the right to be #1 on my list.  She's also a little too skinny.

Jessica Biel Jessica Biel is pure sex appeal to me.  She isn't the prettiest woman, she's actually manages to pull of the "girl next door" face, but rocks a much hotter body.  I never really watch 7th Heaven other than a few episodes at the end of it's run (and I think she was pretty much only a guest star at that point).  But where she got me was Summer Catch.  I don't know if they only give her clothes that look like they are made of tissue paper, but she rocks a wet bikini better than most anybody.  Then can we just take a second to remember he scene in Chuck and Larry?  ... You can keep going if you like. Why She's Not #1: There are women on this list that are prettier.

4. Scarlett Johansson Scarlett Johansson was always that actress that was in movies that I didn't watch.  The first movie I did see her in was Eight Legged Freaks.  It wasn't until The Island did I actually know who she was.  If there was a woman that identified the perfect body, it would be her.  And she's actually pretty as well.  Like we ever stood a chance. Why She's Not #1: She's more cute than she is beautiful.

3. Jessica Alba I may have been in love with Jessica Alba the first time I saw her.  Idle Hands introduced me to her and I think is still her at her sexiest.  She is so hot she even got me to watch a Paul Walker movie (Into the Blue) and I liked it.  She's not only incredibly hot, but unbelievably pretty.  No woman should be built like this, it's just not fair to men. Why She's Not #1: Too cute looking.

2. Rosario Dawson Rosario Dawson should be one of those women that we can only imagine what she looks like naked.  Luckily, we don't have to imagine.  The first thing I remember her in was He Got Game, and she was naked in it.  Then we had Alexander.  But I do have to say she was probably her sexiest in Clerks 2.  Yah, the movie with the donkey f**ker.  Her dance on top of Mooby's with Dante was unbelievable.  She oozes sex appeal and she actually seems like a person that would be cool to hang out with.   Why She's Not #1: I don't know.  I may have to rethink this entire list.  Maybe because she had simulated sex with Ray Allen?  And Colin Ferrell? She is hotter than she is pretty.  Is that a reason?

1. Kelly Hu Kelly Hu is easily the oldest woman I'll have on this list.  I first saw her in Scorpion King, where she spent the majority of the movie half naked.  Oh and she was 34 when she filmed that movie.  She must have sacrificed a baby, made a deal with the devil or found the fountain of youth.  She's amazing. Why She's #1: She gorgeous and ages BACKWARDS.  Bottle what ever part of her that you can and sell it as the fountain of youth.  She needs to be in more movies, STAT.
